As
we begin 2025, the conversations surrounding technology’s impact on
youth wellbeing continue to intensify. With growing concerns about
mental health and mounting calls for tech-related restrictions, we find
ourselves at a crucial crossroads. Yet one thing is clear: to be healthy
and safe online, young people need more than rules and restrictions —
they need empowerment.
Over the past
year, the Digital Wellness Lab has focused on listening to youth voices,
conducting independent research, and collaborating with experts from
across fields to help shape a healthier digital ecosystem.
Our 2024 Impact Report
shares key highlights from our work, including new insights into how
online spaces can foster connection and support, the vital role of media
literacy in helping young people confidently navigate the complexities
of the digital world, and guidance on how we can better equip youth,
parents, educators, policymakers, and tech companies to build a safer,
more supportive digital environment.
