CMCH Director Michael Rich, MD, MPH, was quoted in a Washington Post article about toddlers and iPad use. He noted that iPads are too new for any longterm research to be around, but he also advised parents that the type of learning on iPads tends to be more focused on mimicking than learning how to learn.
