A new report looked at the relationship between children and media and found that minority children spend an average of 13 hours a day using media. This large amount of time spent with media has tremendous health implications for children.
CMCH Director, Dr. Michael Rich, argues that growing obesity rates among  minority children may correlate to the high screen time but there’s a need for more research to clarify that relationship.
