Media Health Effects is a free tool for anyone interested in the scientific evidence behind the ways media, youth, and health intersect. As of 2021, our database of academic research contains over 2,500 article citations, and new citations are continually being added. Looking for research help on a particular media health topic? Our carefully curated Research Guides collect the most exciting and relevant modern research on topics such as video gaming, cyberbullying, tech in the classroom and more.
We’re opening the database to a limited group of researchers and interested individuals to make the tool as useful as possible. While we are no longer accepting applicants for the closed beta, we anticipate launching the freely available final version by July 31, 2021. If you would like to be notified of the site’s launch, please contact us.
