Advancing Knowledge for a Healthier Digital Future
The Digital Wellness Lab conducts in-depth research to better understand how digital media and technology affect youth health, development, and overall wellbeing. These studies use an array of qualitative and quantitative methods to build on key questions from our Pulse Surveys and are shaped by collaboration with educators, clinicians, policymakers, industry leaders, and young people themselves.
By investigating topics such as social gaming, adolescent social media use, problematic interactive media use, and emerging AI technologies, we aim to provide actionable insights that promote safer, healthier digital spaces. Centering young people’s perspectives ensures that our findings drive meaningful change—informing best practices for families, clinicians, educators, and technology developers alike.
