Kat Mitchell is an M.Ed student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in the Learning, Design, Innovation, and Technology program. Kat holds a B.A. in Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond. She previously worked as a product manager for a curriculum provider developing K-12 learning materials.
Kat’s studies at Harvard focus on connecting learning science and pedagogical research to technology-based learning solutions. She is passionate about creating impact with edtech tools and curious about how AI will shape the future of learning. At the DWL, Kat is exploring how we can use learning science and educational research to train AI to better support young learners.
