American Parents Buying Into ‘Kiddie’ Computer Age

Computers have become such a part of everyday life, it’s no wonder people want their kids to start using
them at an early age.

However, Dr. Michael Rich, Director of CMCH, points out that computers
are not able to offer three very important things to a child’s development: interaction with other human beings, manipulating the physical environment and
open-ended problem solving.
