Facebook and Young Users

According to a new Consumer Reports survey, 7.5 million—or more than one-third—of people who used Facebook in the past year were younger than 13. Experts’ argue that’s against Facebook’s rules and, in some cases, a violation of federal law.

CMCH Staff Scientist, Dr. David Bickham, argues that parents should abide by the age restrictions and once children are of age to have a Facebook account, parents need to set rules and be there to advise.
