San Mateo County Office of Education and the Coalition for Safe Schools and Communities in San Mateo have partnered with the Bay Area Urban Area Securities Initiative to host a day-long School Safety Symposium. The symposium will include various prevention strategies for schools, partner agencies, and families to help decrease bullying, increase student and school connectedness and help parents/families connect on and offline with their students. Dr. Rich will join our colleagues from NAMLE to discuss how young people can have positive experiences in online spaces and how families and educators can support kids’ online safety.

Dr. Mike Tsappis of the Clinic for Interactive Media and Internet Disorders (CIMAID) will present on the clinics worth to families and social workers.
