Julia Tsappis is a rising junior at the University of Virginia pursuing a double major in Cognitive Science, specializing in Neuroscience, and English. Her academic interests span childhood development, the relationship between neural processes and behavior, and the philosophy of AI—specifically the nuances of artificial intelligence and original intentionality.
This summer, Julia is excited to support the Digital Wellness Lab’s mission to promote healthy media use. She looks forward to focusing her research on AI and the ways media usage can become a conditioned behavior.
